Grandad was Separated from Gran. She never divorced him.

 

There was a rumour that Gran had a spat with one of the wom en from up the road. Her son was rumoured to be Grandads . He apparently had the same photo as mum of Grandad wit h his boxing gloves.

 

He ran off with another woman back to Derbyshire

Funeral was arranged by Cravens at Craven Lodge, Broadgree n Road, Old Swan, Liverpool 13. Funeral was at All Saint s Church, Broadgreen Road, at 11.00am on Monday 29th Januar y 1979 followed by Cremation in February 1979 due to the Gr ave Diggers Strike action. The Reverand W H Fick preside d over original Funeral Service.
